Arts, Culture & Sports

OKC advises numerous Arts, Culture and Heritage organisations where funding is often required for programme innovation, infrastructure and capital development projects for Venues, Galleries and Theatres as well as for Festival programming and for the purchase and restoration of works of artistic and cultural significance. OKC guides such organisations on the best fundraising approach to meet their needs so that they can secure funding from various donor sources including high-impact individual donors and corporate and grant partners.

Since 2018, OKC has delivered the RAISE programme on  behalf of the Arts Council of Ireland,  providing fundraising guidance and organisational development support to over 50 arts organisations with a focus on developing and growing sustainable individual, philanthropic and corporate investment in the arts.

In terms of Sports, OKC believes that participation in sports has a key role to play in health, wellbeing and community participation and we guide sports organisations to take a holistic approach to their projects, ensuring that the impact of their programmes has a far reaching community benefit.

Our Clients

The Irish Chamber Orchestra has worked with O’Kennedy Consulting for over three years as part of the Arts Council supported private investment capacity building programme RAISE. ICO is in a much stronger place, with regard to audience and supporter engagement, since we began our work with O’Kennedy Consulting. They take a holistic view of development which is intrinsically linked with marketing and friend-engagement. They have also taken an innovative approach to advising us on how we can engage audiences and supporters digitally since the onset of Covid-19. We have really enjoyed working with Mary and her excellent team and developed a great working relationship with them. The team are consistently willing to give that extra percentage all the time and are both professional and very deadline driven.”
