Sarah is an experienced communications strategist and creative lead with a passion for using storytelling to drive social impact. With a B.A. in Communication Studies from DCU, an MSc in Advertising from TU Dublin and a Certificate in Fundraising Copywriting from the Institute for Sustainable Philanthropy, she brings a strong blend of academic insight, creative skill and strategic thinking to her work.

As Head of Marketing and Communications at OKC, Sarah leads the consultancy’s brand development, content strategy, creative direction and copywriting - both internally and across a portfolio of purpose-driven clients. Her work spans everything from Case for Support development, donor messaging and campaign storytelling to crafting grant proposals, strategic pitches and thought leadership pieces. She also brings a strong visual sensibility to her work - designing compelling donor communications, pitch decks and brand-aligned materials that elevate both message and impact.

With a professional background in advertising, Sarah began her career crafting cross-platform content before moving into the not-for-profit space, where she found a lasting connection between language and impact. Since then, she has developed a strong focus on donor psychology, emotionally intelligent messaging and values-led brand storytelling.

Sarah believes in the power of clear, creative communication to inspire generosity, deepen engagement and help organisations share their vision with confidence. She is especially passionate about elevating the voice of OKC and its clients through thoughtful, strategic storytelling that connects people to purpose.
