Brigitte Murphy

Administration and Finance Officer

Brigitte joined OKC in January 2023. She brings to the organisation a wide range of knowledge and experience garnered from the corporate, semi-state and charity sector. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Smurfit Graduate School of Business at University College Dublin. 

Being interested in business and society, she is author of a book on entrepreneurship originally created to benefit the creative sector in Ireland but expanded to be more inclusive of individual people’s needs. She also holds a BA (hons) Arts degree in Social Science from UCD and a range of additional studies to include Public Relations, Digital Management and Life Coaching.  

Her interest in Philanthropy and Sustainability began in her twenties with her National Urban Tree Planting Initiative. Working with at ESS Modular (Construction) Ltd in recent years Brigitte lead a project team to win a Sustainability Excellence Award, and working closely with the CEO developed the company’s Philanthropy Policy and managed the charitable support initiatives. Other charity support include Administrative and Project support working with CEO and team at Mellon Educate and Aspen Counselling Service (Lucan).    

Brigitte worked in the media gaining insights into production across television, radio, print and online publishing. Moving from magazine publishing in London she entered RTÉ Young People’s TV before moving to Corporate Communications, and then Press & Publicity Officer at RTÉ Radio Group.  

Brigitte’s quest for knowledge across a range of areas has been driven by her lifelong need to enable success for people, projects and organisations across a wide landscape.  

Her passion to work at OKC is driven by the Consultancy’s diverse clients and ability to create synergies between clients and believes OKC can utilise and optimise all that she brings to benefit all stakeholders, adding value to include solution finding and innovative thinking.
